I was challenged by , and to write 8 facts about some of my characters. Many thanks for tagging me, y'all, and for wanting to know more about my characters!! (updates: Hakon and Aedgar)
HAKON
AIDAN
HAKON
- He first met Yngvar on a trip to Iceland when they were about 8. They argued and fought, and Yngvar cast an axe at his head, missing him by a finger. It did chip his ear, though, and Hakon still has the scar. They became close friends after that;
- He is unrivalled in drinking contests. This doesn't mean that he rarely gets drunk, only that he ingests dramatic quantities of booze before he does;
- Often people try to make him spill secrets about Yngvar when he's drunk. Some succeed, but there's no way of knowing which are true and which aren't;
- He is a very skilled swimmer;
- He loves the ladies and the ladies love him, and he never misses a chance to boast his impressive number of conquests;
- He owns a fine dagger, with hilt masterfully carved in walrus ivory, that he acquired on one of his adventures in the Faroes. It is a gift from one of his lady admirers;
- He (sort of) decides to settle down at one point, narrowing down his lovers to two talented seamstresses: Eira and Brita;
- He has a red-furred dog named Grivi.
AEDGAR
- His mother Mildthryth died when Aedgar was 9. His stepmother Merwyn is only 5 years older than him.
AEDGAR
- His mother Mildthryth died when Aedgar was 9. His stepmother Merwyn is only 5 years older than him.
- He is married to Odelyne, daughter of the Earldorman of Mercia. The marriage had been arranged by their fathers; luckily, Aedgar found her satisfactory.
- When he is at home on Sundays, he reads the Scriptures to his children. As a husband, he is faithful and protective, although not particularly affectionate.
- He knows vanity is a grave sin, but he likes his hair neat; hence, he keeps a whalebone comb near at all times;

- Among his earthly pleasures are foods (especially small game birds), good music and poetry (he pays Irish bards particularly well);
- He is fluent in Norman and is often sent on errands in Normandy by King Ethelred.- Aedgar's impressive masked helmet ornamented with garnet stones is a gift from King Ethelred of England for Aedgar's services to the crown;
- He met Olaf Tryggvason, King of Norway, when he was baptized by King Ethelred. Aedgar found Olaf a remarkable man and an arrogant prick.
AIDAN
- He's very handy: he's good at drawing, calligraphy and sculpture;
- He studied Latin and Greek at the monastery and can understand some Danish.
- At the monastery, he often gets into fights with other monks;
- When he is 6, he witnesses the public execution of a woman thought to be a witch, an event which marks him;
- At home, he enjoys talking to an old Danish blacksmith called Einar;
- He has a very close relationship with his mother Merwyn;
- He admires his brother Aedgar and wants to be more like him;
- He and his other brother Edmund share a mutual hatred.
- She was raised by her maid, Wilburg, one of her mother's cousins;
- Her relationship with her parents is a formal one;
- She had a brother who died at birth and an older sister, Eadlin, who drowned while playing with her in the lake;
- She often seems passive, because she is used to suppressing her emotions;
- Merwyn pampers her son Aidan in his childhood;
- She creates stories in ballad form, which she then sings to Aidan as lullabies;
- Her qualities as a writer are not acknowledged.
YNGVAR
- He was born in Iceland in 969 AD;
- His parents, Valdis and Vidar, died tragically when Yngvar was a child;
- He is rumored to have magical powers and to drink the blood of his defeated enemies;
- He travelled around the world (from Iceland to the shores to the Mediterranean Sea and of the Baltic Sea);
- He collects artifacts from his journeys;
- He despises the filth of humanity and hates people, including himself;
- The only person who knows some of his dark secrets is his childhood friend Hakon;
- There's a reward for his capture (a huge price in silver), issued by Olaf Tryggvason, King of Norway!
Many thanks to those who responded to my challenge! (I'm not tagging anyone new though )

Q/A and Drabbles session - Lucky Wolf!
Greetings, everyone! :wave:
My short novel LUCKY WOLF has come to an end! Thank you everyone who has followed it, every comment and favourite has meant so much to me :love:
To celebrate the event, I'm having a Q&A session and Drabbles session!!!
I'll be posting the texts and answers here and on Tapas. I've discovered, however, that I can't make 100-word texts, but I promise I'll keep the ficlets short (150-ish) ^^; Also, you know modern AUs are my guilty pleasure, so I totally wouldn't mind prompts for ficlets of these two in our time :D
Here are some of the prompts I've got so far (on Tapas and IG):

Still Alive!
Greetings, everyone!
I've been pretty much absent from dA in the past weeks. Life has been busy lately, so I had to sort out my priorities and give up a lot of things that I enjoyed and planned to do. I wanted to keep posting to dA because it has a special place in my heart, even though I've found (and given, I admit) less support than months ago when I was more active.
I wanted to keep up with %OC-training (https://www.deviantart.com/oc-training) , but I haven't found that much inspiration in the story I was planning to write, so I'm very far behind with all the tasks and, to my shame, I haven't followed this round much even though there are many artists and characters there
