Aidan is serving a keg of ale at the table where Rannveig is having dinner with her friends (although their friendship isn't in a great spot right now, as you can see ^^).

Yet another illustrated scene from my novel Sons of Disobedience! Aidan is already a slave in the house of Jarl Skjar and his niece Rannveig. From left to right we have Asvald, Gertha, Aidan and Rannveig. Lars must be somewhere beside them, standing at Rannveig's left, perhaps.

Rannveig can be both a tomboy and a womanly and seductive, depending on her mood and on the impression she wants to make. Sometimes, she wants to look like she doesn't care.
